Come breathe, move, chant, meditate, and relax deeply to the ancient sound of the gong. This class is designed to support you to relax deeply so that you can renew your energy and spirit. We will begin with breathing exercises that will lead us into body movements. After, we will mediate and then relax to the sound of the gong.
This class is designed to be the same for 6 weeks (continues through August), so that you can come once and check it out, or come every time to get stronger at the practice, and even practice between classes really making it your own! This is called a 40 day Sadhana. In Yoga, Sadhana is a classic practice; to do something for 40 days and observe the powerful effects. A facebook group is offered for your support and to ask questions over the 40 days.
You do not need to have previous experience with any kind of yoga to come. This class is open to all over age 13 and is free for youth, ages 13-18. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring a shawl for meditation if you like. Yogi Tea served after.
