Come breathe, move, chant, meditate, and relax deeply to the ancient sound of the gong.

This class will teach the basics of Kundalini Yoga including various breathing techniques, asana (postures), bandhas (locks), mudras, & mantras. We will warm up before the Basic Spinal Series Kriya, enjoy a long savasana with gong, and then rise refreshed for a meditation. Tea served after. 

You do not need to have previous experience with any kind of yoga to come. This class is open to all over age 13 and is free for youth, ages 13-18. No one is turned away for lack of funds.

Wear loose comfortable clothing. Bring a shawl for meditation if you like. Yogi Tea served after.

Jiwanshakti (pronounced G-von-shock T), her spiritual name. Jiwan meaning soul: Shakti meaning the feminine power of the cosmos.
