Contemporary Dance for Beginners, adults & older teens

This is a new class and is offered by donation through the month of February. Suggested donation $5-$20. This class is free for teens.

Learn beginner contemporary dance and explore choreography in a fun supportive environment! Activate your week with creative and powerful movement. Connect your brain and body with frequency minded music. Increase your strength and flexibility while healing on deeper levels and soothing your nervous system.

This class is designed for adults ready to begin contemporary dance and it will get you moving right away. All genders welcome. Older teens (15+) are invited to join; free for youth. Suggested donation / sliding scale $5-$20.

Teacher Bio

Monica McClelland started dancing at the age of 2. She received a BFA in Dance & Theater from Northern Illinois University. She spent 7 years dancing professionally in NYC in contemporary dance and musical theater. Credits Include: Nadine Bommer Dance Company, ALMA NYC, and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
